Ingredients:

24 cups popped popcorn

 

1 teaspoon baking powder

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

3 cups sugar

3/4 cup water

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 250°F.

Coat the bottom and sides of a large roasting pan with cooking spray with flour.

 

Place popped popcorn in roasting pan (removing any un-popped kernels).

 

In a sauce pan add baking powder, cocoa powder, sugar and water.

Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon until the candy thermometer hits 240°F soft ball.

Gradually pour over popped popcorn, mixing well.

Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven, cool completely.

 

Store in airtight container.
