Ingredients:

1 small onion

2 tablespoon butter

3 tablespoon flour

½ cup milk

1 can Creme de Leite –  Table Cream (Brazilian Store)

1 teaspoon chicken bouillon

 

3 cups cooked rice

1 (8.5 oz.) jar Requeijão Cremoso (Brazilian Store)

1 chicken breast roasted and diced

1 cup frozen peas cooked and drained

1 cup frozen corn cooked and drained

½ LB shredded mozzarella cheese

 

1 can potato sticks

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Coat a 9 x 13 glass pan with butter.

 

Place onion in blender and process until creamy.

Sauté blended onion with butter.

Add flour and mix well. Reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes mixing all the time.

Add milk, creme de leite and chicken bouillon. Mix well until it becomes a thicker cream and it has not lumps. Reserve.

 

In the glass pan add a layer of rice, followed by Requeijão Cremoso, chicken breast, peas, corn and white sauce, spreading each layer evenly.

 

Finish with mozzarella cheese and bake for 15 minutes, turn glass pan around and bake for more 15 minutes or until light golden brown.

 

Add potato sticks and serve.
